Shiyou Electric has been actively building intelligent microgrid projects with our company's park as an important pilot. After the successful grid connection and power generation of the first phase of the distributed photovoltaic project, the second phase of the energy storage project has also been officially connected to the grid and put into operation recently.

This project (100kWh/200kWh) is the first industrial park energy storage project in Hunan Province to adopt Huawei's solution and core equipment, and also the first domestic energy storage project to adopt Huawei Energy Cloud. Shiyou Electric is actively working with relevant partners to promote and apply new solutions, platforms, and equipment in the field of new energy.

The energy storage system includes a power control module and a lithium battery module, which can store and release electrical energy according to the requirements of the intelligent battery cluster controller. It also has multiple subsystems such as power supply and distribution system, monitoring system, environmental control system, fire suppression system, etc. It has the characteristics of safety, reliability, rapid deployment, low cost, high energy efficiency, and intelligent management. Truly achieving 'one package, one optimization, one cluster, one management' to ensure the maximum utilization of battery capacity.

2 Modular Energy Storage Controllers PCS

PCS adopts a DC bus architecture for safer and more intelligent efficient charging and discharging of the system, achieving bidirectional and four quadrant operation of active and reactive power. PCS is equipped with intelligent air cooling, which can automatically adjust temperature in a timely manner according to the ambient temperature, and has 110% long-term overload and 120% short-term overload functions. It also has functions such as DC bus short circuit protection and AC lightning protection.

3. Self developed and self-made intelligent AC distribution cabinet by Sanyou


High protection outdoor cabinet, realizing integrated distribution of photovoltaic, energy storage, and charging piles, with 12 circuits of 50kW photovoltaic, 4 circuits of 100kW energy storage, and 2 circuits of 300kW charging piles; High precision smart meters and self-developed terminals are deployed to accurately collect the data of each circuit. Multiple networks are flexibly configured. edge computing and cloud computing are combined to have Type1+2 AC lightning protection and video monitoring capabilities, making the entire intelligent microgrid system more secure and reliable.

4. Further upgrade of digital energy management platform

Compared with the Phase I project, the Phase II energy storage project has made a greater breakthrough in the digital energy platformization - using the World Advanced Self developed Terminal, which uses high-performance SoC and operating system, provides a very rich peripheral interface, has the characteristics of fast communication speed, low latency, and provides reliable edge computing capabilities, and can be widely used for data acquisition and transmission of the Internet of Things. The successful launch and use of this terminal has met a series of functional requirements such as visual display on the Shiyou independent digital energy platform, multi power station status control and analysis, inverter status analysis, energy storage status analysis, meteorological station data monitoring, video monitoring, various data report analysis, and operation and maintenance control.
